Upload to YouTube

I've never been to YouTube.

  1. Click on the Sign Up link.
  2. Create your own YouTube account. Remember to ask an adult to help you with this, you must be at least 13 years old to have your own YouTube account.
  3. YouTube will send you a confirmation e-mail.
  4. Upload your StoryTubes video.
    • Click on the yellow Upload button.
    • Give your video a title (remember not to give away your last name or where you live), description, select a category, and type in some tags.
    • Under Broadcast Options make sure the video is set to Public so we can add you to the contest.
  5. Click on the Go To My Videos button
  6. Copy the URL provided with your video information, you will need to copy this onto your application.

I'm a YouTube Pro

  1. When you upload your video make sure the video is set to Public.
